Three Ears Letter Of The Week

August 3 · Issue #23 · View online
Every week, I'll write you a letter. A letter about anything, really. My goal is just to make you think. Then, I handpick 5 posts you'll love (and learn from).

A few years back, my friend Amy said “assume good intent” and it’s one of those phrases that has stuck with me. It’s easy to assume bad intent, especially as we’re peppered with bad news every day.
There’s one easy way to make assuming good intent your first instinct: surround yourself by people who actually do have good intent.
Be around people who you have no hesitation to be yourself around. The ones who don’t make you question their motives or your choices.
At work and in your life.
