I’m noticing this new tension between employer brand and recruiting. Recruiting just wants more people in the pipeline and employer brand wants to tell the best story to do that but bottom line, it’s not translating into candidates.
That’s where they’ve got it all wrong. Employer brand teams can do something even better for recruiters than tell the company’s story better.
Employer brand teams can help recruiters be even better at their jobs. Train them how to translate your EVP into strategic outreach. Teach them how to tell a story. How to write emails that make people respond.
Employer brand teams forget that recruiters are one of the customers.
Treat them like it. Make them the hero of the story. 
That relationship will help you both.
