I love Pride Month. What I love most about it is that for one day, we’re living out loud. Allies and the LGBTQI community come together to share one of the most valuable things we have as humans: hope. As a kid who spent so many years hiding and feeling hopeless, these days are a reminder of how far we’ve come and an infusion of hope in an ecosystem of fear. I hope you’ll take the time to celebrate hope itself, at work and in the streets. This week, I’m sharing my story as well as some poignant Pride stories and stats from other writers to celebrate my community and a month dedicated to hope for the future.
