. So being the nerd I am, I began to dissect the pieces. I need to understand what made it so special in the first place. Why is it working for recruiters?
Ultimately, I think that template’s success comes down to one simple element. Something that’s not unique or special to me at all.
It demands consideration of the person on the other side.
As I’ve gone through conflicts in life - divorce, family crap, really-hate-my-boss issues - I know the part that made it hardest was a lack of consideration for each other in the every day things (whoever the other was.)
In reverse, when we are hyper-considerate even in casual interactions, we make a unique impression because most people just don’t do that. They just don’t consider everyone around them.
So as you’re doing your own planning, candidate experience audits
or recruiting strategies - I hope you’ll do it with consideration in mind. I know the people on the other side would really appreciate it.
